Challenge

Move a traditional printing workflow into a simple digital experience.

Before this project, Monakie had no website and relied mainly on existing repeat customers. New customers had limited ways to discover the shop, browse available designs, or understand the ordering process before visiting. The main challenge was to support online ordering without making the workflow difficult for walk-in customers or shop staff.

Solution

An interactive catalogue with ordering, payment, and tracking built in.

I built the system with Next.js and Fabric.js, creating a catalogue where customers can explore apparel designs, customize logos, names, and numbers, submit orders, pay online or at the counter, and track progress using an order number.

01

Interactive Catalogue

Customers can browse apparel categories including General, Sport, Fishing, Team Building, Event, Gaming, and Familyday before starting an order.

02

Canvas Customization

Fabric.js powers a lightweight apparel configurator where customers can upload multiple logos, drag them into position, and add names or numbers.

03

Admin Workflow

Orders are saved to the system database and displayed in an admin dashboard for payment review, customization checks, and job status updates.

Customer Flow

A guided path from product discovery to order tracking.

The ordering path is split into small decisions so customers can move from design browsing to checkout without needing staff to explain every step first.

  1. 01

    Choose apparel type or category

  2. 02

    Select a design

  3. 03

    Pick from available color options

  4. 04

Customize with logo, name, and number

  5. 05

    Select size and quantity

  6. 06

    Submit order

  7. 07

Pay online or at the counter

  8. 08

Track order status using order number

Payment & Admin

Order management for staff, tracking visibility for customers.

Orders are submitted directly into the system database and displayed inside an admin dashboard. When staff update job progress, the customer-facing tracking page updates too, reducing repeated status questions through chat or phone.

Design Direction

Clean, minimal, and practical for everyday shop usage.

The visual direction follows the owner's preference for a simple interface. The goal is clear categories, easy customization, simple order submission, and transparent tracking while positioning Monakie as a modern custom apparel provider.
